Examination : Preliminary – ARS Examination – 2013 on 29/12/2013 (Sunday) from 02.00 pm to 04.00 pm. (ii) ARS – Main Examination – 2013 on 16/03/2014 (Sunday) from 10.00 am to 01.00 pm.

Age : A candidate seeking admission to the Agricultural Research Service must have attained the age of 21 years but not have attained the age of 32 years as on 01/08/2013.

Qualification : A candidate must have a Master's degree or equivalent in the concerned subject on or before 31/10/2012.

Fee : The candidates seeking admission to examination must pay to the Board a fee of Rs. 480/- plus Rs.20/- as registration charges (total Rs.500/-) (Rs.20/- for SC/ST/PH/Women candidates).

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will hold the Special Class Railway Apprentices' Examination (SCRA), 2014 on 12/01/2014 for recruitment to the Special Class Apprentices in the Mechanical Department of Indian Railways.

Eligibility:

Age : Not less than 17 years and not more than 21 years as on 1/1/2014. The upper age is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC and certain other categories of candidates to the extent specified in the Notice.
Educational Qualification: Must have passes in the first or second division, The intermediate or an equivalent examination (10+2) of a University /Board approved by the Government of India with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the examination.
